Begin by visiting our to provide the necessary details about your collectible. This information sets the stage for your item’s digital journey.
Security is paramount. Once you submit the initial form, our team will contact you for additional information and to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, ensuring a trusted trading environment.
With KYC complete, we'll send you a shipping label. Our packaging tutorial videos are available to guide you through securing your items for safe transport. If you encounter any issues, our support team is ready to assist.
Proper packaging is crucial for the safety of your collectibles. Watch our tutorial to learn how to pack your items correctly, and if you need help, our team is just a support ticket away.
Upon receiving your items at our vault, we will notify you, and the tokenization process will begin. Once tokenized, we will airdrop your collectible directly to your registered wallet on The Colony platform where you can view it on your Profile page.
When you tokenize a collectible on Colony, you establish yourself as the original creator of that asset, a fact permanently recorded on the blockchain. The inaugural sale from your wallet initiates an ongoing revenue share — you receive 1% from every subsequent sale. This opens up a continuous stream of passive income, a unique opportunity that was previously inaccessible.
To maintain a streamlined process for tokenizing your collectibles, it’s essential to submit the accompanying form prior to sending your item to The Colony. Items received without a completed form will not be accepted in our vault and will be returned back to the sender.
Please be aware that The Colony takes charge of your asset once it arrives at our vault. Any shipping issues encountered en route, including damages or losses, should be addressed with the shipping provider as we are not liable for incidents occurring before arrival. We safeguard your collectibles from the moment they're in our care.
In the event that we receive an ungraded trading card or a type of asset that is not yet supported by our platform, you will cover the cost of return shipping. Tokenization takes 7-14 business days after the item enters the vault.
